A dark reddish brown porter with a thin moka head. In aroma, nice chocolate, light meatyness, nutty. In mouth, a superb porter with an oily mouthfeel, roasted malts, nice moka chocolate, well balanced. On tap at PA Flavor, April 9th, 2011.

Draught, Maple Shade. Dark with a tan head. Roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, and a light smoke in the aroma. Full bodied. Robust roast malts, coffee, deep chocolate goodness, and nice dark caramel. Such a smooth, lasting Porter. Excellent beer.

Served on draft at the Lancaster location. Pours a clear dark ruby color with a medium head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of dark roasted malts, smoke, caramel and a lightly bitter finish. The taste is roasted malts, nuts, smoke and a bitter hop finish. Dry, medium bodied and very nice,

Tap at Phoenixville location...dark brown, appears black with a mini dark tan head...medium body porter...baking cocoa, molasses, some coffee bean, and a touch of creaminess leaves a stickiness to the lips...also tasting some dark fruits...aroma is very mild, only roasted malts, candied cherries and a touch of toffee...yummy!

[At GABF 2004] Acopper colored beer with a small beige head. The aroma is plainly sweet malty, while the flavor is primarily and hoppy, but also somewhat dry from roasted malt.
