Anything but a typical American Pale, Santa Fe Pale Ale is as full bodied as its most robust English counterparts, while asserting its American origin with a healthy nose resplendent with Cascade and Willamette hops. It finishes with a well-balanced combination of the subtle, almost Pilsner-like maltiness accentuated by…

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of KAggie97. Slightly hazy amber golden with a lively, off-white head. Aroma of fruit and a little caramel. Medium in body with lightly sweet caramel and a touch of fruit. Very subdued bitterness. A very mediocre APA. 260208

12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy orange with a lacing white head. Light hoppy citrus fruity aroma with a little spice note. Flavour holds a solid caramel malt flavour, sweet and with a little liqourice note. Ends with a lingering caramel malt and light spiced note.

Hazy amber color. Aroma and taste have both some malt and caramel, with some light hop character at the end. Drinkable but simple.

Thanks to Whaleman for sending this one my way! This pours a medium amber color with a touch of haze. Minimal off-white head. Light, fruity malt/hop aroma. Well balanced between the malt sweetness and hop bitterness. Light palate with a low hop level would make this a very drinkable brew for those who find IPA’s to be too heavily hopped.
