Wharf View is a rich chocolate porter brewed in tribute to Rowntree Wharf, the towering riverside landmark standing proudly behind our brewery in York. Once a bustling warehouse where cocoa beans arrived by water to feed the city’s chocolate-making heritage, the wharf remains a reminder of York’s industrious past.
Layers of smooth chocolate, roasted malt and gentle coffee notes reflect that history in every pint, creating a porter as deep, dark and characterful as the building that inspired it.

Decided to delay my train by half an hour for this extra tick at the station tap.. Extremely dark-brown, looks black taste is all chocolate, except there's zero sweetness here. Stated in one aspect of chocolate, understated in another. Despite this I am favourable to it, its aftertaste provides a very healthy chocolate blast, aroma follows, and this makes it very flavoursome. Aroma strong before the aforementioned too. It was a good choice to delay.

Gravity pour, half pint at a beer festival in the Pheasant, Wellington on 17th July 2026. Black with a tanned head. Chocolate maltiness from the start to finish, bit thin but very drinkable,
