Bottle thanks to Brian! Pours hazy hazel, small tan head with nice residual lacing. Aroma is caramel, cut grass, bready, some fruity yeast esters, nutty. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter, lots of maltiness and yeast floral and fruit esters, plus some fresh cut field grass. Medium body. Quite pleasant.

Pour is a clear brown with a large white head. Aroma is a malt bomb with lots of butterscotch. Flavor is stong malt with a bit of earthyness. Finish is kinda lager watery but with a little butterscotch and some leather. It’s an ok BDG with lots of earthy malts to look forward too.

Draft. Clear amber color, small off white head. Aroma of slightly medicinal caramel. Taste is much better, spicy, herbal, floral, malty. Tasty

750ml bottle poured into a snifter. Pours a hazy dark amber with a thin ring of off-white head. Aroma of dark fermented fruit, plums, fruit loops and sugar. Taste is light bitter and light sweet. Plums, dark fruit and some caramel. Medium-full bodied with a thin yet creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, not bad. I wouldn’t drink it again but I’ll enjoy this one.

Massive caramel and vinegar on the nose. Clear orange with gold on the edges. Drinkable.

Sampled from a 750 ml brown corked bottle this beer poured an orange-brown color with a huge creamy beige head that lingered forever and produced good lacing. The aroma was faint tart lemon, nutmeg, cinnamon and yeast. The flavor was tart and tangy with a moderate woody presence and some vague spices. Underneath were notes of bread, nut and an earthy presence. The finish was short, tart and malty. Interesting.

Ok, I am not quite sure when this bottle was from so I don’t know if it was really aged or not. However, it pours a white foamy head and a reddish body. Has a really pretty fruity aroma. The taste is fruity and slightly sweet; maybe even a little winy. It is a little dry and slightly bitter with notes of honey. An interesting beer and pleasant to drink.

Soft caramelly, earthy palate. Golden-amber colour. Kind of musty aroma. On the tongue it gets watery late. It’s a rounded, lighter, softer example of the style, without much nuance.
