Not red as on tapat the bocktown robinson, nice beer tasting place. Pale yellow near brown. Smells like yer mates BO. Barely any co2 but there is a some perceivable sizzle. Let me chew on green grapefruit rinds fresh picked off a tree in florida. Big and bitter fer sure. Nasty nellie impressions for a lager lover. Lasts forever on the finish. Mouth coating. Better than rock bottom DIPA.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours clear amber with a creamy/bubbly off-white head. Nice citrous aroma. Med + body. Flavor is nice citrus with a light burn over lightly roasted malt. The hop flavor didn’t seem strong initially, and then it started to burn. Pretty good stuff.

Rich deep reddish hued copper body with a dense, thick two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of fresh citrus and piney hops with a fragrant malt note, some light sugars and a bit more earthy hops. Medium-bodied; Strong toasted malt note up front with a bunch of nice earthy and piney hops noticeable, more fragrant and perfumey as the taste wears on, but a good bite along with a light oaky and grassy note. Aftertaste shows a good blend of the malt and the hops with a bit of a caramelised sugar flavour behind, some dryness and all finishing with a grassy hop flavour. Overall, a nice IPA, definitely a good blend of an Irish Red styled Ale with a pungent but not overdone PNW IPA. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 12-December-2012 for US$6.29 sampled at home on the Eastern Shore of Virginia on 19-January-2013.

Draught at Malone’s Urban Drinkery, Vancouver
Cloudy amber color, with creamy head. Nice hop aroma, very lemony, fruity. Good body strength, with smooth mouthfeel; malt and some fudge flavor; strong bitterness; the hop provides a quite strong lemony character (the Citra) but creamy too (lemon tart; the Sorachi Ace).
Fresh.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Sparrow-Downtown, 12/11/12

Aroma: This one has a pleasantly hoppy nose, with some citrus fruits, and a little resin
Appearance: Pours a mostly clear caramel-orange color with a small off-white head and spotty lace
Flavor: It has a clean, light sweetness up-front, with a medium-heavy mid-to-end palate bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, leaning light, with a smooth feel, soft carbonation, and a sticky, dry finish
Overall Impression: Very solid stuff overall. It's really more of an IPA then the hoppy Red I thought I was going to get when I purchased it, but I have no complaints there. I didn't notice the Sorachi Ace at all, and if I hadn't read the description, I would have had no idea it was there, but I still really enjoyed this beer.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Argonaut in Denver. I’m always glad to find new Elysian ticks! Pours a quite hazy, dark reddish orange appearance with a cream colored head and pretty good retention. Quite spicy, huge grapefruity, pineapple, white grape, somewhat resiny, somewhat toasty malty aroma. Tingly spicy, lightly piney, somewhat sticky resiny, mango, tropical fruity, grapefruity, light caramel, toasty malty flavor. Smooth and delicious. I’ve had super good experiences with Elysian lately. Keep it up!

Tap at Elysian Fields, Seattle - 09/11/12. Clear mid amber with a thin off white head. Nose is hops, pine, light grapefruit tones, mango. Taste follows with a touch of citrus. Medium bodied with bite, soft carbonation, bitter finish. Decent stuff!

On tap. Pours an orange brown with medium head and nice lacing. Fruity aroma; grapefruit, strawberries, and tropical fruit. Same for the flavour with nice full malts and slight bitter finish. Very nice. Tastes like another...
