Draught from Valhalla- where else? Orangey not very red pour. Big white head. Strong hops smells. Resiny pine taste. Light malts and caramel. More like a double/imp IPA really but good regardless

Light haze on this red - amber beer, good cream coloured head. Palate is softish and airy with fine carbonation. Smooth malt, slightly soft. Spicy hops - pine and a whisper of skunk. Underneath are mild tropical fruits and peel. Smooth semi dry finish. Nicely joined up and pretty drinkable.

Poured from 6 fl oz bottle. Clear amber with full off-white head. Medium citrusy hop aroma. Taste is predominantly the hops with some very subtle caramel malt. Medium-Full body, creamy(-ish) texture.

Bottle at BD Sheps B. It pours clear deep red with a small white head. The nose is pine, resin, red fruits, jam, candied citrus peel and caramel. The taste is bitter-sweet, pine, resin, varnish, red fruit, jam, toffee, citrus peel and some alcohol warmth with a lingering bitter-dry finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and oily mouth-feel. A bit chewy. Decent red IPA.

Bottle: Pours a shimmering amber color with a mountain of creamy beige head. Lots of lacing throughout. I’m quite taken by the aroma; ripe citrus, light florals and pine. It smells juicy. Deep floral hop flavor, light citrus, faint pine. A bready malt presence is overshadowed by the hops and rightly so. Finishes brash with hints of fusels. Fortunately it’s not overly bitter so the hot finish doesn’t sting. A heater that’s smooth, nice.

Dark amber color. Very hoppy piney nose, with a touch of caramel. Big hoppy mouth. Big bitter finish. Big hop bomb but enjoyable.

Pour is a hazy red with almost no head. Aroma is earthy hops and oily malts. Flavor is a nice mix of sticky caramel malt with some piney resin from the hops. Finish leaves almost a rye like spice and more of that nice piney resin hop. Kind of more in the American strong ale category with the heavy malt presence but the hops still show up here in a big way.

Bomber from a grocery store. Pours a deep reddish brown hue with a large tan/white head. A big malty nose with caramel, light pine. The flavor leans more toward bitter fruity hops, dry earthy caramel malt, more pine and lemon coming in. Quite well made and smooth. Very drink...poundable.

Bottle. 5K backlog. Pours reddish orange with off white head. Nose and taste of peach, alcohol soaked fruits, resin and perfume. A bit boozy for an IPA at 7.5%. Medium body.
