A hazed golden saison with a thin white head. In aroma, nice fruity malt with herbaceous spices, orange peels, light lactic notes. In mouth, a smooth fruity lactic beer with fruity notes, orange peels, nice. On tap at Snallygaster DC, Oct. 13 2012.

On tap at Churchkey. Pours a hazy, straw yellow with some thin, white head. Nose of light lemon, light orange peel, yeasty, definitely some rye, grass, dried grains. Flavor is malty, bread, sweet, lightly peppery, some other lurking spice (like a light caraway seed), yeast. Light, dry finish. Another solid brew.

Draft. Cloudy yellow color, large white head. Aroma of funky peppermint. Taste is peppery straw, slight sourness at the end, dry finish. Interesting.

Draft at Snallygaster Beer Fest in Washington DC. Poured a cloudy yellow color with a nice, thick white head. Aroma was spicy, with some rye notes in there. Flavor is about the same. Very enjoyable brew, very flavorful, and with a low ABV, this one was really really drinkable.
