Bierbörse Karlsruhe. Pours a brown in color with small head. Aroma is all roasted malt. Taste follows but is light. Deep brown pour with all that roasted malt but mouthfeel is light to medium.

Draught at BBF13. Vinous aroma. Cloudy dark brown colour. Small off-white head. The flavour is malty with a faint hint of winegum. Spicy hops in the finish. Subtle flavour, but good.

Draught @ BBF13. Pours murky dark brown with small off-white head. Dark aroma of malt, caramel and roast. Mildly roasty flavour with sweet notes of malt and caramel. Rather watery mouthfeel. Not bad, but nothing extraordinary and a trifle unbalanced.

On tap: Deep ruby-amber coloured with a small and stable tanned head, presumably clear, mild to moderate sweetish-roasty nose with a dark-malty bitterness underneath; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; subdued chocolatey traces in the sweetish malty finish. Incredible: a good and tasty and clean beer from a modern german Hausbrauerei…

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is fruity, dark malty and again slight butterish. Sweet, caramelish, toffee, breadish and mild fruity. Bitter and roasted malty finish.

Malzig-metallerner Nachgeschmack. Test vom 25.6.2007, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 10,5,6,5,-,5 - 5,68

200ml on tap at the brewpub. Their website says 5% abv. Beige floaters on top of a murky, dark brown body. Modest smell of dark malts. Dark fruits together with slightly smoked malts in flavour. Foamy in the mouth. A bit bland impression (Stuttgart, 25.02.2009).

Draught@brewpub, Stuttgart
Dark ruby red color, creamy off-white head. Nose is unclean with sticky aromas and light caramelly notes. Toasted malty, a sweetish caramelly malty dark beer - more toward to dunkel than schwarzbier. Even being at brewpub with 3 beers, tap is clearly a bit unclean. Anyway this is their worst beer.
