Made with imported 2 row Vienna and Munich German malts and whole flower German hops. Subtly sweet with a delicate malt nose, our Festbier gains its impressive body from our use of all imported German malts and decoction brewing process.

Draught. Copper red with small off white foamy head, doughy aroma, sour taste with a hint of grapefruit, low carbonation, long sour finish. Interesting oktoberfest with a different twist.

(Bottle, 0.355 l - BB 11 Jul 2015, at Maltainen Riekko, 20141121) The beer poured brown and almost clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, malts and molasses. Palate was medium bodied with high carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, sugary sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, malty and bitter. A too sweet interpretation of an Oktoberfestbier.

35,5 cl bottle @ One Pint Pub, BBE 11.07.2015. Aroma is rather malty and grainy with some sweet tones and hints of toffee. Flavour has vegetables, toffee, minerals, some goosebery bush and nettles. Thin and too much off-flavours here.

Orange i fargen med lavt beige skum. Honning, brunt sukker og trevirke. Søtlig og litt syrlig i smaken. Medium kullsyre. Kort

Smak och doft av humle, malt, karamell, citrus och toner av örter. Lagom sötma, jämn och rund kropp. Fin beska. Ett bra oktoberfestöl.

355 ml bottle from Systembolaget Majorna (Göteborg). BB 11 JUL 2015, sampled on October 17, 2014.Clear to perhaps a tad bit hazy deep golden to amber to pale copper oxide color. Smallish teal head that leaves some lacing on the side of the glass. Mainly malty and grainy scent, sort of raw grains, a bit to the dry and acidic side. Dry, malty, sweet, grainy, grassy, herbal, light bitter taste. Some bitterness, grainy, light acidic, dare I say some stomach bile/puke aftertaste. Medium to fizzy, to the high side CO2 mouthfel, medium to medium high rather dry and mineral like bitterness. Some floral stems, solvent like almost harsh bitterness, rather resin like green feel to it. Some sand and wet stones mixed with cabbage and dandelion leaves. Lots of garden greens and not so much herbal richness. The hops does come through some, but are shadowed by a lot of not so well implemented characteristics. Not for me, and I wouldn’t go for German style either, just not something I’d go out for again, as for always per my personal taste.

Drickbar men ganska konstig smakbild. Gissar att den sett sina bästa dagar eller tt den här batchen inte var bra. Bryggeriet brukar vara betydligt bättre.
