12 oz bottle, best by 18 Jan 2015. Pours coppery amber with an off-white fizzy head. Toasty sweet maltiness, honey, with a mineral impression. Toasted malt with a nice edge and honey flavor as well, sweet. A good entry in the style.

Bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours hazy amber with a small creamy brownish beige head that leaves a spotty trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty, slightly herbal and tiny floral with dark bread, sourdough, St John’s wort, caramel, moist wood, caraway, moist soil, silage, wet stone and hints of orange peal. Taste is slightly sweet, slightly bitter, malty, tiny herbal and slightly floral with dark bread, biscuits, caramel, bread spices, minerals, grass, moist soil, moist green herbs, hazelnuts and orange peal. Mouthfeel is round and medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet, slightly bitter, slightly malty and slightly floral with dark bread, caramel, moist soil, grass, orange peal, hazelnuts and hints of bread spices. Quite enjoyable...

Flaska från SB. Kopparfärgad vätska med tjock och fluffigt skum. Gjorde misstaget att sticka ner nosen i skummet. En doft av grönmögelost knackade snabbt på näsans receptorer. När skummet lagt sig hade osten försvunnit också, tur där. Markant sädig doft med inslag av gröna ärtor. Len, lite klen munkänsla. Nertonad sötma med balanserad beska. Mjäkig och intetsägande försök av ett amerikanskt bryggeri.

Bottle. Light hazy deep copper liquid with small to medium off-white head. Aroma of bread, dried fruit, earth, floral hops, toffee and pumpernickel. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with notes of dried fruit, earth and Danish rye bread. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Pretty decent but not outstanding.
