Real pumpkin, seasonal spices, and fresh-from-the-patch flavor. Some people say pumpkins are fruit. Other people say pumpkins are vegetables. We say… they’re tasty! So we brewed our fall-spiced hefeweizen with pure pumpkin – a truly delicious fruiveggie!

12 oz can, as Harpoon UFO Journey to Planet Pumpkin, 9/29/24. Unclear lighter orange color with fizzy off-white head that dissipates fairly quickly down to almost nothing. Light aroma of bready malt, grain, and pumpkin. Nutmeg and allspice in the background, but not overpowering. Earthy and a little herbal. Light, fairly simple. Easy drinking. A touch thin. Long pumpkin finish. One of the more sessionable pumpkin beers I can recall. Overall, this one is more of the vegetal / gourd style than the pie spice style of Pumpkin beer, which is a fairly welcome change. Not bad at all. 6/3/6/4/14

Optisch Kürbis, also tatsächlich orange. In der Nase auch deutlich wahrzunehmen, sehr würzig. Im Trunk ebenso, sehr herbstlich lecker, Kurbus stark im Vordergrund, dazu Zimt, passt.

Canned 7/18/22, drunk 11/3/22. Moderately hazy, pumpkin-amber. Large, well-retained, buttermilk colored head. Faint pumpkin and wheat, I guess? Cinnamon, of course. Not sugary, at least and no lactose. Watery, thin, wheaty and with minimal, vague pumpkin flavor and too much cinnamon. Not too sweet, at least. Vapid, thin, meh.

OK, so I had the ufo pumpkin, but not this stuff. I'm curious if its the same thing. Got this can off the clearance rack at JR's. Smell is pumpkin spice. Initial impression is decent creamy carbonation. Yes there is some pumpkin spice in there, but its not as bad as some pumpkin brews. Its a little more mellow when it comes to the spices but it still is a little rude at times. date code is 7/2021 so it is a little dated I guess. Goes down fairly easy for a 6% brew. Better than expected but still not refreshing JMHO. I've tasted better pumpkin beers that were easy to get along with but at least this stuff supposedly has real pumpkin puree in it.

OK, after a positive letter from the IRS, this beer hast to taste good. Looks like any other punky beer, somethin like a heff. Smell is spicy punky sweet. Quite strong on the initial taste bud blast. Pretty good CO2, good sizzle down the hatch. Some medicinal attributes on the finish.

Many thanks to Peter. Mild smooth grainy beginning. Hints of Pumpkin, spices in the back. Moderate bitter / grainy. Nice fruity mild pumpkin aftertaste.

Pumpkin orange color with a creamy head. Pumpkin pie aroma. Flavor is slightly sweet like a Hefeweizen with a good level of pumpkin pie spice and flavor.

Pours clear amber. Thick white head. Aroma of spices. Taste is lightly hopped, dominated by artificial spice flavors. Vegetable notes for the palate. Not great.

Poured from tap at American Legion Post 227 copper color with a nice white head. Aromas of pumpkin pie spice caramel malt. Taste follows but is kinda sweet.
