Another beer sent to me in a beer club delivery. No preconceptions on this one, I doubt it is offered in my home state. Poured into a glass mug it offers an attractive medium red body and a thin white top. It looks to be lowly carbonated. A whiff gives me a bit of malt and vanilla. It tastes decent, a little hop to go with the malt and some pecan. Very small amount of bitterness. No great shakes but I am not put off.

A malty sweet amber. Kind of middle of the road, not standout in either a good or bad way.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy toffee color with a large foamy orange-white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was malty and sweet with fruity hops, caramel and honey. The flavor was malty, tangy and sweet with nut and fruity hops. Medium length finish. Medium body. Decent.

Draught @ Taproom, Coastal Extreme Brewing Company, Newport, RI
Pours hazy deep golden/copper with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, floral and citrus. Taste is meidum sweet and medium bitter with a long malty and caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at the taproom. A clear, dark amber beer with a minimal sized light beige head. The aroma has bread, caramel and a grassy, piney touch. Some diacetyl notes too. There’s a nice bitterness in the mouth, a soft carbonation level and it’s rather dry. Bread, grass, caramel and a touch of diacetyl in the flavor. A bit short finish. Drinkable, but sure boring. 150607

Location: 12 oz bottle from Nikki's Liquors, 4/16/15.
Aroma: It has a clean, lightly sweet malty aroma, caramel, a little spice, and some hop notes.
Appearance: The pour is dark orange in color, mostly clear, with a beige head and medium lace.
Flavor: Similar flavor, with a decently malty presence, medium sweet and mildly bitter.
Palate: Light-medium bodied, not a great mouthfeel, soft carbonation, slightly dry finish.
Overall Impression: I didn't love this beer. The flavor is below average, and it is just kind of off. Not awful, but certainly not good either.

(bottle) bright, clear amber colour with a medium tall light brown head; aroma starts with stewed fruit, then roast; balanced flavour with a long medium bitter finish; nice

12oz bottle from Georgio’s, Billerica, MA. A hazy golden amber pour with scummy cream head; malty aroma; fruity malt taste; with a sweet biscuity finish. Very drinkable.

Bottle. Stale barley malt aroma. Hazy amber with a small off-white head. Cardboard barley malt, and light bitter hop flavor. Light body, moderate carbonation. Freshest before March indicated on the bottle, which explains the poor flavor.
