Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a dark brown color with a medium sized creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of sweet chocolate and cocoa with faint hops. The taste is similar but with some additional earth and toastiness. Medium bodied.

Opaque oily black with a lacing white head. Malty aroma with hints of nuts, coffee and chocolate. Flavor is the same with heavy roasted malts. Strong finish of licorice. Soft and drinkable.
