On tap at the brewpub back in late August of 2012 (sorry for the late upload). Here’s my take.
Into a tulip, this showed a gentle golden amber color with a soft white one finger somewhat foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute.
The smell was slightly herbal with a light earthy fruitiness and then allowing a light pepper in the background to balance, nice, I like it.
The taste was lightly spiced with a slight herbal quality coming in on the taste buds, earthy - somewhat.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fair carbonation ringing about the feel. There’s a decent dry fruity finish.
Overall, decent saison I could have again if I was in Rhode Island, until then...

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy peach color with a medium sized creamy white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of spice, stone fruits and bready notes. The taste is herbal hops, spice, citrus, bread, bitter lingering hop finish. Medium bodied.

Draft at the source. Cloudy orange yellow color, small white edge head. Aroma of funky white bread dough. Taste is sinilar, with a subtle grapefruit finish.

Draft @ the Brew pub on cask. Served in a snifter. Nearly clear gold with thick full head. Great lacing. Pleasant nose of yeast and malt with light spice. They use a new hop call “Motueka” from New Zealand. It had a really nice flavor. Bit of lemon zest, fruit. I would drink this again and was very delightful on cask. The best of the three beers I had on our visit.

A hazed golden saison with a thin big bubbled white head. In aroma, pleasant orange zest, coriander, candy sugar, quite classy. In mouth, a smooth crisp malt with coriander, curacao, herbal and delicious. Nice. On tap at Boston Beer Summit, April 16 2011.

(Draught at the brewpub) Poured golden and lightly hazy with small white head. Aroma of sourness, coriander and fruitiness. Medium bodied and dry palate with medium carbonation. Tasted of fruitiness, sourness, coriander, hops and bitterness. Spicy and bitter aftertaste. Clearly the best beer the pub had on tap while I sat there. I actually had a few of these.
