Draft@ Rattle & hum. This is somehow billed as an Altbier but it isn’t, it’s a weak IPA. Metalllic etc.

This amber looking beer has an kind of sweet bitter taste with hints of caramel. Old paper ratings before Ratebeer, so why not rate them in hindsight.

Didn't think this had enough flavor to be an amber ale, but if I had to guess where this beer was from I'd say, VT. Clean, crisp.

12 oz. can from Consumer' Beverages, Niagara Falls. Pours a crystal clear copper color with a khaki head and good retention. Spotty lacing. Pretty pour. Aroma of caramel and hops. The flavor is more caramel malt and less hops, with a thick caramel finish. Low bitterness. Sweet, but not unbalanced. Smooth and clean. Could easily be an amber lager. Nice.

From old tasting notes. Hazy copper gold color. Small creamy beige head. Sweet Carmel malt aroma. Sweet toasted malt flavor has a silky soft mouthfeel and an underlying earthiness. Very good.

Bottle 355ml @ Hotel room, La Quinta Inn & Suites, Portland, ME
Pours hazy golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel and grass. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long malty, caramel and grassy finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. An unclear, dark amber to copper colored beer with a small, off-white head. The aroma is very bready, like Danish rye bread, with some caramel and a little fruity touch. It’s medium bodied and soft on the palate, rather dry, with flavors of bread, toffee and a generic fruityness. Some dried fruits and bitterness. Long caramel flavor with bread and some bitterness. Rather boring this one, and it needs a few sips to feel pleasant. 150608

Bottle from Candia Road Convenience Store. Aroma is mix of bready malt and yeast. Appearance is gorgeous clear copper color (go figure) with beautiful sparkling, one finger frothy white head that dissipates to ring and foamy lacing. Taste is weak and has nothing up front but lightly sweet back end. Palate is light and thin with nice light carbonation on the tongue. Finish is inconsequential. Overall, I’m not sure you’re going to find a nicer beer to look at. But, it’s almost like OCB put all their eggs in this basket and forgot about the other attributes. Not much to recommend it otherwise.

Pours from a bottle a dark amber. Aroma is some floral hops, a little dark wheat. Flavor is a nice sweet maltiness, with some whole wheat toast flavor and a pleasant bitterness. A good beer.
