Amber bronze copper appearance. No nose. Taste is like an earth covered penny. Mild bitterness a touch of salami peppery spice. Finish is smooth.

Reviewed from notes. I’ve had this beer more than enough times in my life when I used to live in the New England area and almost always prefer this on tap and with food.
The appearance has a clear red/amber slightly copper colored body with a fingers worth of foamy white head. There was some light speckled yet spotty lacing that trickled down the sides of the glass. There is not any surfacing carbonation.
The smell is slightly malty, but mainly roasty nuttiness. Some breadiness comes out in the smell.
The taste is mainly the roasted nuttiness. Some caramel comes out in the taste.
The palate sits about a medium with a light carbonation profile. It leaves a slightly dry feel to my mouth.
Overall, this is not a bad beer, very similar to an American Brown, so I should really like it.

Bottle. Unclear amber with a small to medium off-white head. Aroma of malt and caramel, a bit stale, with some nuttiness and some fruity notes. Sweetish malt flavor, a bit stale, with caramel, a bit of toastiness, nutty hints, light fruitiness and a mildly bitter finish with light hoppiness. Medium-bodied. So-so.

Copper color. Well-balanced, but not what I consider to be malty or hoppy.

Pours a deep copper color with a huge white head that slowly recedes and places much sticky lace on the sides of the glass. Smells quite malty with toffee and caramel being dominant in the nose. Bready with faint earthy hops round out the nose. Taste is toffee and caramel with earthy hops and hints of pine. Medium body with a spirited level of carbonation and a bubbly sweet mouthfeel. Decent brew that’s easy to drink. Not really my favorite style, but glad to have tried it.

Ehh, fine with a burger, on tap at plan b in simsbury, not going to blow your socks off, an easy beer with dinner so long as it is not poured too cold.

Barley grain and tea nose, quite a bit a stronger than expected. Hazy tea colored, thin head. Roasted grains then hay with subtle tea notes. Light body, very refreshing. Well balanced. Nice

Gave a 12 oz bottle to LiteWait and shared. Light copper color, aroma is very grainy like horse feed. Head is ¼ inch leaves spider web lacing. Light to mild carbonation. Taste is the aroma with a very high hop in the finish. Light bodied. This brew can be a nice change of pace if you are used to drinking full bodied high alcohol content beer. A smooth easy finish that makes your mouth water, wanting more. It is a refreshing beer, probably better enjoyed on a hot summer day, opposed to a dark cold winters night.
