Bottled at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stokholm. Clear amber, small airy head. Buttery earthy nose. Sweet and fruity, medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Salty ashy finish. A well rounded mid-intensity beer, perhaps not the most complex there is though.

Pours a copper color, with an off-white head and lacing that is left all over the place. Aroma is not very impressive, but you can figure out some things from it then will thereafter be related in the taste: caramel malts. We then get some caramel malts all up in the taste. A lingering finish that gives a few different tastes all over the place. Some bitterness becomes apparent also. There is one more taste that I can’t put my finger on and neither did the last ten reviewers. Not great, but a good session.

Overall Impression: I've had this a few times before, but not for a while, always thought this was a pretty decent beer.

22oz bottle as part of the "World Tour" pack. Pours with a slightly hazed copper body and a rocky, off-white head that leaves decent lace. Aroma is metallic and bready with some honey, spice and hop bitterness. Taste is bitter up front with some spiced bread dough and a metallic finish. Lively carbonation and a dryish finish.

bottle - Pours copper with a medium sized head. The aroma is kind of fruity with a touch of caramel malt. The flavor is sweet and lightly roasted malt with some unfortunate sourness that has me wondering if there’s a little infection here. It smells better than it tastes.

This ale poured a nice rich copper colour with a quick lived white rocky head. To the nose there is scents of malt, bread, hopps (slightly piney) and a little citrus. First taste was smooth with a good bout of hoppy bitterness and a little caramel. Palate is nothing but bitter hopps, but not overbearing.

Draught Copper colour indeed, with a rim of yellow for head. Ambrée malts, bit sweet-caramelly smelling. Bitterish with a spicy overlay over the maltsweetness, that remains nearly hidden. Bit burning MF, a little slick and medium body. OK ale, nothing adventurous.

Pour is copper with a white head. Aroma is non-existant with a very slight and i mean slight burnt malt. Flavor is a tad better with some more burnt malts and a sticky toffee. Not real good.
