Bottle thanks to Craig. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A big fruity nose. The flavor is candy sugar, some beet, banana, big fruity flavors, some heat. Pretty nice.

Ok. May have been better but I just drank a Tripel that Mike brewed that was much better than this.

Bottle. Hazy golden yellwo straw color, massive white ice cream cone head, delicate lacing. Aroma of white pepper, nutmeg, dusty straw. Taste is spiced and slightly funky barnyard straw, hay, lemon peel. Like a spiced saison. Nice stuff.

750 uncorked bottle. Hazy yellow-green, steady white head. Candi sugar sweet aroma. Not a bad Belgian Golden Ale, probably past it’s prime a little, cracked open in June 2012 and all. Some tropical citrus action, but more dominated by the sugar malt. Nice albeit faded champagne effervescence. A pretty decent Ameri-Belgo Tripel, but not so memorable, pretty much par for the course. A little more true to style I guess, but still not monumentally enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours cloudy apricot with bone white head. Nose/taste of florals, honey, sweet citrus fruits, pear, banana and yeast. Medium body. Finishes dry citrus. Very creamy mouth feel.

750ml bottle from Wine and Cheese Place poured into a Chimay Trappist glass. Pours a cloudy golden orange with a minimal bit of white head. Aroma of wheat and coriander with a little sugar. Taste is medium sweet. Loads of Belgian sugar and coriander with some nice citrus flavor. Full bodied with a thick and creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a long sweet finish. Overall, this is great. Wish I would have bought a second bottle to age.

750 ml bottle. Pours slightly hazy gold with a large white lacy head with good retention. Aroma is grainy, spicy. Taste is sweet, meaty and dry. I taste clove, apple. Mouthfeel is oily to creamy, carbonation is soft. A nice Tripel.

Capped 750 from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours hazy gold with a 3 finger foamy/creamy off-white head. Aromas of yeast, citrus and light stone fruit. Full bodied. Flavor is yeast, citrus, touch of kandi, and something suggesting earthiness. All that aside, memory indicates this is something of a quintessential tripel. A pleasure to drink. It has a rather lush texture.
