22 oz bottle poured. Pours a copper color with a disappearing head. Sweet citrus and floral aroma. Floral flavor up front with a hint of spice. Citrus flavor present as well. The floral notes take over a bit. Fun, unique beer for sure. Flavor just comes off as a little odd to me. Low carb. Decent beer.

Bottle. Pours with a hazed golden hued body with a small yet retentive white head. Aromas are of isoamyl acetate, vanilla, citrus and pineapple with a floral and herbal character that I assume is elderflower. Flavors are huge, hoppy, citrus, floral, tropical fruit, bubblegum, herbal, light grain. Lively carbonation with a dry finish.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Half Time, 10/3/12

Aroma: The nose is rather floral, with some spice, fruity notes, and some yeast and grass as well
Appearance: Pours a cloudy orange color with a fizzy foam of off-white head and some drippy lace
Flavor: It tastes spicier then the nose, the floral notes are a touch more subtle, and there's fruitiness too
Palate: It is medium bodied, going a bit outside of traditional palate terms: it has spice/tingle/yeasty feel
Overall Impression: Half Time was a heck of a store. I'm jealous of those who live near by, I think it has a better selection then my local store (with a similar feel): Buy Rite. Anyway, I enjoyed this beer. This is another really nice and interesting offering from the Elysian "12 Beers of the Apocalypse" Series, of which I have now rated 4 (#1, 2, 3, & 6). Well done here, Elysian.

650 ml bottle. Pours a light amber with medium had that dissipates quickly. But lots of carbonation. Floral and fruity aroma - quite pleasant. Tangy tropical fruit flavor with light notes of Belgian yeast. Nice

22 oz. bottle, split several ways, pours a hazy dark golden with a small white head. Aroma is very flowery, with not much traditional other saison-like characteristics, maybe some subtle Belgian yeast - seems quite dry. Flavour is quite floral / flowery as well, with some yeast more subtly. Quite refreshing, and while dry, it's more sugary than a Belgian saison. Decent, but uninteresting like all the Apocalypse beers so far.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Cloudy light amber color; creamy head. Delicate fruity aroma, peaches, hint of elderflower. The mouthfeel is round; the flavor is simple, maybe too sweet for a Saison, and without yeast character, no spices, no elderflower; relatively low bitterness.
Good aroma but simple flavor.

Draught. Possibly served too cold, whatever the aroma was just a faint spiciness. The flavour redeemed that. Full bodied spiciness with a floral note. Spicy finish. Cloudy beer with soapy head. Let this warm and don’t freeze your lines
