Draught keg at Tønne, Leicester. Dark brown and a bit translucent with a small khaki-coloured head. Spotty lacing. Chocolate aroma, slightly metallic, notes of caramel. Taste is sweet and laden with chocolate jokes, a little bit milky. Bitterness is light in the finish but it is complementary as opposed to jarring. Lighter body for the ABV, and the carbonation is also held back a bit. I've had some shocking Vocation beers this year but this one is really lovely.

Doing the Vocation truffle shuffle here having previously had their triple version. This one is more regular in strength with good sugary-chocolate notes available in both aroma and taste. The malty base is quite prominent too in this not quite black coloured stout, which is only mildly sticky-sweet.
