Location: Draft at Queen City Q, 2/25/15

Aroma: The nose has some pale malts, a little grass, and other light hop notes
Appearance: This one pours a hazy yellowish-gold color with a small head
Flavor: The flavor is along the same lines, light hops, clean malts, fairly balanced
Palate: This one is medium bodied with a pretty decent overall mouthfeel to it
Overall Impression: I enjoyed a lot of what I've tried from Birdsong, but I thought this one was a little bit on the dull side. Not a bad beer, but not super memorable either.

Draft - Buttery biscuit malts. Hazy gold with a decent white head. Buttery biscuit, bright citrus bitterness and a dry finish.

Shaker pint draft at the brewery in Charlotte, North Carolina. The pour is a hazed golden yellow with not much of a white head. The aroma is cracker malt, along with off notes of plastic and possibly some diacetyl, behind that is some grass hops. The taste is the nose, with the flaws coming on pretty strong with the plastic as the beer warmed. The palate is light to medium bodied, somewhat flabby carbonation and a muddled finish.

On tap @ Birdsong with jcnielsen. Pours a bit hazy dark orange appearance with a cream colored head. Some veggie in the nose and some very muted earthy hops. Not a whole lot going on. Flavor just gives a ton of flavorless bitterness. Some herbal notes along with a bit more veggies. Not horrendous but not very good either.

A hazed golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, a nice grassy malt with german hops, and light citrus. In mouth, a nice malt with mineral notes, grassy hops, ok
