A well-structured Czech style pilsner. TORCH is strong in alcohol with a rich, full finish. Good mouth feel and well-balanced Czech Saaz hops ensure that TORCH is not your typical pilsner.

Bottled. Slightly hazy gold. White head. Dissipates fast. Slight fruit and light Saaz aroma. Little bit of sweetness blending to hops. A decent pilsner

Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark amber color with a large foamy tan head that left good lacing. The aroma was fruity and perfumey hops. The flavor was tangy, fruity and a bit perfumey with a light grass note. Long hoppy finish. Medium body.

Bottle thanks to Jeff. Pours a clear straw yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a strong combination of grass and straw with a hint of sweetness underlying. Flavor has lots of grass that is supported by straw and a hint of sweet grains underling.

Sample at GABF 10/07/2017, thanks to my bro for assistance with note-taking. Hazy yellow-gold color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly. Spotty lace. Mildly spicy hops, fruit and malt in the nose. Light-boded with flavors of grassy hop, fruit and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a grassy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle from Harris Teeter, Hampstead, North Carolina. Golden, clear, with a carbonation and small head. Easy-drinking for its strength with a fuller pilsner taste.

Very well done label on bottle. Pours like a pale lager. Pale lager aroma. Nice big rocky white head. Big sharp old country pilz bite, sharp, pointed and almost astringent. Difficulty after each slug. Long pilz btter finish. Appropriate name.

Pour is hazy golden with a large white head. Aroma is a nice bready and hay malt with some grassy hops. Flavor is an even better more richer bready malt. A little bitterness tickles the tongue as this goes down. A very good malt to hops combo. This is a tasty pils lots of rich bready malt.
