Bottle. Light golden body with a frothy white head. Aroma of toasted grain, bread, straw, floral hops, herbs. Hint of corn. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation. Linger bitterness. Clean, crisp, balanced and solid in both taste and aroma. A pleasant surprise that left me wishing I had brought home more than a couple of bottles.

Brown bottle into a 14 oz. pilsner glass. A: Slight haze to the dull straw yellow color. 1.5 finger frothy loosish white head quickly subsides leaving a very nice lace "pattern". Big bubbles. S: Strong bready/cracker malt smell with a light but noticeable hop background. Cut herbs and crackers. T: Dry crackery malt hits first with enough crisp herbal hops coming through to keep it interesting. Hops almost exactly same in strength as the barley. Well balanced. M: Not much to comment on here, but the carbonation is nice and fine textured on the tongue. Crisp finish. Dry hop linger with that crackery snap and a slight chewiness. O: One of my very favorites of the style.

Not quite a bombshell showing for style. Light saaz with some crisp finish. Pours golden with good head and lacing. Good light crisp finish. Tap at Jack Rose.

12oz bottle pours a completely clear, slightly burnt gold with some frothy, lacing white head. Nose is has a lot of wet straw, malt, some metal, lemon, grass. Flavor has some sweet malt, almost a little light pineapple, grass, lemon, mild pepper, straw. Clean finish. Solid beer.

12oz bottle. Poured a pale yellow color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was a touch of biscuit malt notes, earthy and floral hops. Flavor was malty, floral hops. Touch of bitterness and refreshing. Drinkable, but largely forgettable.
