Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark copper color with a large foamy off white head that left good lacing. The aroma was a touch earthy with a bitterish fruity hop note. The flavor was bitter and dry with perfume, floral hops and a bit of butter. Medium length finish. Medium body.

Sampled from the tap at the St. Cloud location. Pours a near clear orange gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a decent amount of flora and sweet citrus with sweet grains backing. Flavor has musty grain and earthy citrus backed by a bit of flora and butterscotch backing.

Reviewed from notes. Consumed June 9th, 2013.
The appearance is a golden/somewhat amber colored body with a moderate amount of carbonation that is seen rising, one finger white foamy head, light lacing surrounding the glass. The aroma has a strong malty presence up front with some hops trying to make a strong secondary take, but mainly stay subdued. The taste is sweet through the malts, sweet sticky aftertaste and finish. On the palate, its about a light to medium, somewhat sessionable, carbonation seems to be right on for the style and for me. Overall, is this really an EIPA, really? uh... ok, well, I thought it was more of an EPA, not bad, not spectacular, but hey, I’d probably have again.
