A German style lager, our Bock carries a brownish color, a medium body, and a mouthwatering smoothness from the wonderful malt and sweet caramel flavors. Malty, nutty sweetness and subtle hints of caramel.

Pour is a dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is a very small chocolate malt. Flavor is about the same a small earthy, chocolate malt and not much past that. I did not think these GC beers would be great but I did not think they would be this awful.

Draft at GC Rockford. Pours a clear nut brown with about half a finger of white head. Aroma of sweet caramel malt and roasted nuts. Taste is light bitter and light sweet. Nuts and caramel. Medium bodied with a creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, pretty good. Lighter than I expected but good for drinking outside in the summer.

Draft @ Orland Park, IL location. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with some grainy hints. Sweetish malty fruity flavor with hints of caramel and some weak hints of chocolate. Has a sweetish malty caramel finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Sample at the Creve Coeur, MO brewpub. The beer is a clear brownish-amber color with a medium thin light beige head that diminishes steadily. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Sweet toffee and malt aroma. Medium body with a sweet malty character and flavors of cocoa and nuts. The finish is sweet chocolate malt with a nutty finish. Average overall.

Growler from KC Speedway location. Clear brown color with a nice head that fades into a halo lacing. Aroma is lightly sweet, lightly bark/earthy, and clean maltiness. Taste is easy with clean faint dark bread maltiness and a lightly sweetened aftertaste and a short light bitterness. Easy drinking nice, but not really special or distinct.

draft - Pours amber with a light, malt rich aroma and a one finger head with some lace. It has a sweet caramel malt flavor and just a hint of alcohol in the finish. Itβs easy drinking and acceptable, but as others have said thereβs nothing memorable here.

Tap at No. KC brewpub. Its mentioned elsewhere, but this was served WAY too cold. They even ice down their pint glasses, so the glass and the beer freeze out all initial aroma and flavor. Once it warms, a bit of roasted malt in there, but not much else. After taste was not good, almost dirty sockish.
