Draft/Fest. A- Malty. A- Mahogany color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Watery, creamy, malty. P- Light body, watery texture, flat carbonation, bland finish. O- Very tasteless. Somehow managed to be creamy and watery at the same time. Not pleasant.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a nut brown color with a medium sized creamy white head that left no lacing. The aroma was thin caramel, wood and a hint of nut. The flavor was toffee, wood, yeast and a touch of smoke. Medium length finish. Medium body.

Draft, as the Bennie. Heller Bock?? Pours deep reddish hickory, minimal head or lacing. Aroma is light, malty, caramel, not much going on really. Flavor is nondescript, watery. Light body, no carbonation. Ugh

4 oz pour on draft at Granite City National Harbor. Listed as The Bennie. Clear amber with off-white head. Aromas of boscuit, malt, caramel, dark fruit. Tastes of malt, caramel, toffee, biscuit, dark fruit. Light body with a dry finish. Fairly high carbonation.

Sampled from the tap at the St. Cloud location. Pours a clear amber brown with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of bread and a bit of roasted malts with s hint of chocolate. Flavor is mainly dark grains and roasted malts with a hint of chocolate.
