Draught from Brouwerij Lane. Pours a nice golden hue, nice head, very floral, good yeast and super delicous.

Small amount of white head tops a somewhat hazy body. Retention is poor, certainly nothing like the regular trippel.
Plenty of lemon and orange in the nose, with some earthy, leafy, rustic/raw hoppiness. Certainly fresh, no denying that, but either the keg was just way too shaken up (unlikely at Deep Ellum) or rather this just was very unfiltered and the hop particles have stubbornly not dropped out. Anyways, it’s very raw and aided by plentiful house yeast esters, creating a milkshake of hop acid, citrus, resin and bananan/clove. Medium strength, no alcohol felt, at least.
Quite bitter and acidic, though the yeast, plentiful supple maltiness that is Allagash trippel and soft texture to the body all help allay the hop bite. The hops are good, I guess, but I just think that trippels, for the most part, are so much about the malt and yeast that there’s just very little room for high alpha hoppiness. May just be not keeping an open mind, but anyways, this didn’t quite mesh for me.

Draught@Lord Hobo. Clear orange-golden color, decent creamy white head. Belgian yeasty, herbal hoppy Sorachi Ace aroma. Medium-bodied. Very sweet fruity front, then Belgian-style yeast, green herbal hoppyness. Evident Sorachi Ace gooseberries flavor. Quite sweet and original as SA is used.

Draft. Pours cloudy yellow with white head. Nose and taste of lemongrass, yeast, creamed lemon, hops and peppercorns. Medium body.

Pours pale yellow into a shaker. White head with good retention recedes to coat surface. Cracker aromas. Soft with sweet marshmallow and hot vanilla front to back.

From tap. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Fruity, light phenolic and mild yeasty to caramelish malty flavoured. Mild peppery and light toasted malty. Bitter and light phenolic finish.

Draft @ Sunset Grill and tap. Tulip glass shows a perfect unclear gold with light retention. Nose is candi sugar and light yeast. Flavor is all about the yeast. Wheat, candi sugar upfront. Fruit notes of peach and apricot. Followed by a nice dry hopping. Real spicy aftertaste. Dry texture with a cotton ball feel. Alcohol is masked really. Very flavorful triple, nice offering as always from Allagash!

On tap. Pours with a clear yellow hued body with a large and retentive white head. Aromas are hoppy, dill, pinesol, lemon peel, mild tea, fruity esters, pear and light black pepper. Flavors are dry, floral, medium bitter, citrus zest, lemon, tea, dry with some pear esters and mild phenols. Lively carbonation, dry and mildly warming.

Tap at Gingerman. Pours yellow with fluffy white head. Nose of vanilla and yeast. Tastes of cloves, vanilla, citrus, pepper, nutmeg, and dough. Lively and spicy and a fun triple.
