This gloriously amber-coloured ale is made with what is often considered to be the finest hop on earth, Simcoe. The result is a fantastically fruity finish with distinctly malty undertones.

(Bottle) Pours clear amber brown with small white head. Aroma is primarily from the hops - I get seaweed, tea, hint of cardboard - over a very subtle toffee note. Lovely palate - smooth generous carbonation. Taste has a nice toffee malt backbone with good hop balance providing some citrus and floral note at the start leading into some pleasant bitterness in the finish. Very nice beer.

On tap at Samo Pivo pub in Belgrade-Serbia. Pours clear dark amber color , tick tan foamy head. Nose: English amber notes, quite elegant and mild, a bit of caramel. Nice and fresh. Mouth: lively carbonated, a bit of butter cookies, some peppery finish. Quite dry and clean. It has an amber orientation but a spotted that butter-pastry thing sadly. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
