The brewers crafted this crispy sip with beechwood smoked barley and cherrywood smoked barley so it brings that classic malty complexity along with a little something extra.

Tasting Notes
Look for hints of dark bread topped with a drizzle of honey. A touch of wildflower bitterness mingles with a puff of campfire char, and it all leads to an incredibly smooth and refreshing finish.

Can from Tavour. Pours amber with a large tan head. Aroma has a lot of wood smoke. Very Bambergish. Med body. Dry and smoky. Some light toffee/bread. There's a little bitterness, but the smoke is the thing. I think I can actually distinguish/parse beechwood and cherry. There's smokiness right through the finish. It is excellent.

Undated can drunk 8/30/26.
Lovely, rich smoke has a nice mix of stronger Bamberg-like character (salted ham, salted caramel) but also a woodier, more elegant apple wood-like dryness. Bit of peppery iodine-like character lingering with not too much intense caramel maltiness. Very clean, aromatic and inviting.
Quite malty though with smoke phenolics immediately going to work to dry out the palate. Maybe not quite as richly smokey as the nose suggests, but certainly smoke-forward. More malt than expected, but it's welcome; soft, rich, supple. Dry woodsmoke dominates the finish with a bit of breadiness and a good mix of peppery iodine juxtaposed with brighter fruit.
