12 ounce can from the Outpost, 8/23/24, Hazy orange, large tan head, average retention. Aroma of giinger, lemon, wheat, clove. Taste is strong ginger, lemon, wheat, more ginger. Pretty spicy and reminiscent of gingersnaps. Nice. New brewery! Brewery #2318, USA #1913, ID #14.

12oz can from Fred Meyers Meridian Idaho. Nose is lemony, ginger, biscuit, and a hint of banana that any good hefe should have. Hazy copper orange with a big, lightly lacing cream colored head. Flavor is lightly sweet and malty with just a tiny hint of bitterness.

Can. Hazy gold, no head. Wheat, ginger, citrus, clove notes. Not much of a hefeweizen.

On tap at The Growler Guys. Pours a cloudy orange with small white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is wheat and citrus. Medium body, wheat, clove, orange zest, decent.

Bomber. Aroma is as described, ginger and lemon; I also get a cheesiness that I’m not totally sure was intentional or not. It’s also pretty floral. Pours hazy orange with a fast collapsing off-white head. Taste is ginger, lemon, bread. It’s mostly (lightly) sweet but it has a touch of sour and some light bitterness in the finish. The ginger contributes some welcome spiciness. Body is fairly thin, but it should be, carbonation is fine. Nice fruity wheat ale.

22oz Bottle, hazy light yellow with a full white head. Standard hef aroma with just a hint of citrus and ginger. Mild wheat flavor, again, barely a trace of the other flavors. Nice a crisp and pleasant.

Interesting, but not interesting enough. Weak head for a weizen, pours hazy amber, mild spiciness of labeled ingredients are present in the aroma and taste, but not as strong as they should be. Noticeably dry finish. Decent for a spiced beer, poor for a weizen
