St-Louis Premium Kriek is brewed on a lambic base complemented with a proportion of St-Louis Kriek Fondation and the juice of Oblacinska cherries that have been steeped in gueuze for six months. This sweet cherry beer tastes delicious on a sunny day and is a perfect beer for anyone who doesn’t like strong beers.

Bottle to pokal.
Appearance: dark brown to ruddy brown color with a light softer transparency close to the bottom and a finger's worth of khaki foamy head which dissipated slowly and eventually left a little bit of light lace
Aroma: some sweet cherries with a light tart whiff to them then super light raspberry & lemony tones underneath and a light acidic tone
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to tart quality; finishes the same way with a slight pucker
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; some smoothness but also coming with a light tart tone to it
Overall: I say this is a pretty nice Lambic I would return to.

Bottle. Very light red, gold color with no head. Aroma is like funky fruit. Taste is a funky, cherry with banana after taste.

What makes this premium? Tastes just as sweet and fake as the regular stuff. Smells and tastes of canned cherry pie filling. A touch of tartness in the finish, and the sweetness is cut a little in the end. I guess the premium ersion is a little less sweet.

Aroma of sweet cherry. Flavour is sweet cherry and some sour notes. Unfortunately, this is too sweet for my taste, I would have liked more pronounced sour notes.

0.25 l bottle from 'Mr. Hop', best before June 2022. Clear, deep ruby with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Intensely sweetish, very fruity aroma of cherry juice, some marzipan and a touch of raspberry. Fairly sweet, intensely fruity, maybe minimally sourish taste of massive cherry juice, some marzipan and hints of raspberry, followed by a short, minimally tart finish. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Typical sweetened kriek, fortunately not artificial.
