Bottle. Pours clear dark red with a small bubbly pinkish head. Aromas of sweet cherries, apples, sugar, marzipan, vinegar. Taste is light tart, cherry candy, sugar, vinegar.

Reddish, frothy head. Strong cherry juice aroma. Extremely sweet with still a good deal of sourness to compensate. Sugary and syrupy, yet rather thin. Lots of cherry juice in the flavor. In fact too sweet and a bit artificial, still a very nice beer.

Ich finde dieses Kriek, das doch recht verbreitet ist, eigentlich ganz gut. Mit klassischem Bier hat das Getränk natürlich wenig zu tun. Aber es hat den klassischen Kriek-Geschmack, auch wenn es ein bisschen zu süß erscheint.
