Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear cherry red with a pink-tinged head. Aromas of cherry and almond. Taste is sweet, marzipan and cherry. Lots of flavour, and a light sharp finish.

375 ml bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy ruby reddish orange/amber color with a 1 finger dense light pink head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big juicy and lightly tart/tangy red/black cherries, strawberry, plum, red apple, red grape, fruit skin/pits, almond, candi sugar, wheat, bread, light funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of cherries, fruity yeast, and malt/sugar sweetness; with great strength. Taste of big juicy and lightly tart/tangy red/black cherries, strawberry, plum, red apple, red grape, fruit skin/pits, almond, candi sugar, wheat, bread, light funk, and yeast earthiness. Light fruity/lactic tartness and fruit tang on the finish. Lingering notes of juicy/tart/tangy red/black cherries, strawberry, plum, red apple, red grape, fruit skin/pits, almond, candi sugar, wheat, bread, light funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of cherries, fruity yeast, and malt/sugar sweetness; with a nice malt/tart/tangy balance, and no cloying flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from fruit tang/tartness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy, and lightly slick/syrupy/tangy/tannic mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 3.2%. Overall this was an excellent sweetened fruit lambic. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of cherries, fruity yeast, and malt/sugar sweetness; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly tart/tangy finish. Tastes like a cherry cobbler dessert as a beer. Lots of authentic jammy cherry fruit presence with balanced sweetness. Not as funky on the yeast as some others I've had, but it was really enjoyable all around.

Roze/rood helder licht roze kraag. Aroma van geuze/lambic, zoete kersen. Smaken matig tot redelijk zoet, framboos, kers, glad, mout, gist, ok co2, goede smaken, Zoetig en licht Zuurtje, jammer is een beetje de stevia zoetstof

Bottle. Clear ruby color with pinkish head. Aroma is straight bubblegum, artificial cherry flavours, soda-like. Taste is the same. Low carbonation. Really like drinking bubblegum juice.

At De Kalvarieberg, Bruges. Pours hazy red with a thin, pink head. The aroma contains cherry, sugar and some almond/marzipan. It tastes heavy sweet and only very light sour with a lingering sweetness - no Lambic-like finish. Light body, sticky texture, fizzy carbonation. Nah, this is just not it.

06/2017 @home - 33cl bottle, 2 years past it’s BBF date. Clear red with pinkish head. Nose is sweet artificial cherry. Taste is artificial cherry, very sweet, even after all these years.

Sweet cherries, fruity sourness, minor barnyard both on aroma and taste. Pleasant pop-lambic

Pours a black cherry red from this bottled on February 19th 2013 black wrapped caged and corked bottle.

Big sweet cherry smell maybe some wheat.

All cherries in the taste. 99% sweet, 1% tart.

Lovely Belgian fruit beer, which I have a definite bias for. Take that into accoun
