From tap at Uiltje Bar, Haarlem, during Mikkeller tap takeover. Aroma is sweet dark malt, roast, creamy coffee, lactose, some fruity hoppy notes, chocolate, with a touch of liquorice. Flavour is pleasantly sweet with some bitterness in the finish. Body is medium to full. Not as smashing as some of the other Beer Geek brews (Brunch Weasel in particular), but a very fine rounded Sweet Stout.

Аромат в основе кофейный. Свежий аромат кофейных зерен. Пена очень красивая, карамельно-коричневая. Вкус весьма горький. Чувствуется горький шоколад, легкая карамель от солода. В послевкусие плавно из горячи начинает ощущаться сахар. В целом средний стаут.

Bottle. A dark brown to black one, with close to no head. Some dark beige bubbles. Roasted malts, coffee, some dark chocolate and a lactose hint in the aroma. Oats and some alcohol too. It's full bodied and lightly warming, with a gentle bitterness. Roasted malts, coffee, oats, burnt hints and a light hoppy touch. Lasting finish. Nice, but not as nice as the regular Beer Geek Breakfast. 240301

Black with a medium light brown head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and dried fruit sense. Sweet with a chocolate, coffee and some dried fruit sense end. Medium to full bodied.

Draft at Brewdog Doghouse Edinburgh. Dark brown with a soft, bubbly tan head. Aroma is sweet and coffee. Taste is coffee, bitter, chocolate, mild sweetness, milky notes. Bitterness up front, then a lazy simmering of all of the flavors. Creamy.

Pours pitch black and a steady brown head with good lacing. Aroma's: firmroast, drop, umami, woody. Retronasal: sweet, red fruit, fruitella, vanilla, light coffee, roast. Flavour is sweet with proper coffee roast for balance. Medium bodied. Roasty bitter finish.

Bottle: Poured a black color stout with a large brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with some bitter chocolate notes also noticeable. Taste is dominated by dry roasted malt notes with some bitter chocolate notes with light lactose notes also perceptible. Body is about average with string carbonation. Enjoyable stout but more bitter then I was expecting with lactose not showing up as much as expected.

Tap at Salon piva. Much less glorious than I expected. Very rough, lots of ashy burnt dark flavours. Only very light chocolatey sweetish goodness. Good but not great. Hard to drink.
