Bottle. Pitch black body with a big, dense, creamy beige head. Aroma has a bit moderate dark malt, milk chocolate, alcohol and coffee. Flavor is sweet, dark malt, milk chocolate, hint of toast, bouillon and light coffee. Medium body and quite nice in aftertaste. Pleasant but not outstanding.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 04/10/27, from Alko, 20171209) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had cocoa, sweetness and coffee with milk. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, cocoa, sweetness, coffee and bitterness. Aftertaste had chocolate, burnt malts and bitterness. A tasty and balanced sweetish burnt brew.

Nagy, tartós, bézs hab, fekete szín. Édeskés, csokis, kávés, kakaós, aszalt meggyes illat. Kávés, kakaóporos, csokis ízek, aszalt meggyes-szilvás aromákkal. Közepesen testes, közepesen szénsavas és keserű. Nagyon finom sör, kitűnő egyensúllyal.

(500ml can from Mikkeller Webshop) Pours black with a big pile of latte coloured froth that fades slowly with a spider web of lace. Notes are a mix of earthy, slightly fruity roast coffee, chocolate, cream, coffee beans, caramel, roasty, slightly bready dark malt, light liquorice. Definitely some sweetness from malt and lactose but a lot of drying roasty coffee counteracts. Finish is dry and moderately bitter, loads of coffee, earth, roast, lightly burnt. Felt stronger on the tongue than the nose but I was also a bit congested. Mouthfeel is oily but average, carbonation fairly soft. A good coffee stout, not exceptional but the lactose helps balance the coffee without heavy sweetening.

At a tasting, thanks, small thick espresso cream head , opaque very dark brown color, aroma of coffee and dark bread, flavor of coffee and sweet milk chocolate, muddy hint and just a bit of bitter chocolate, medium bodied, quite sweet but balanced by some bitterness. Nice.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a pitch black color with a large deep brown head. A big sweet nose, heavy roast and lactose. Very nice aroma. Rich dark roast, metallic, cocoa, dry core, licorice and vanilla. Very good. Reminds me of Guinness SE Stout but sweeter. Lovely.
