Location: Tap at the Brew Pub , 8/7/09

Overall Impression: Eh, I found this to be a pretty boring Hefe. Not a ton going on here, mostly just light wheaty flavors and light spice, standard and a bit dull, not bad, but probably near the bottom of the sampler for me...

Draught at the brewpub, 5.7% ABV
Muddy blond color. The aroma has some nice esthers, spices and banana. The flavor has a strong wheat character, but ends a bit metallic. It’s not my style, but it’s not bad.

Hazy dull straw colour. Very clovey aroma with hints of banana. Fairly sweet flavour, straightforward in character with candied banana. Sweet malts and a light lively body but too simple.

Hazy blonde coloured body with orange highlights and a thin white head. Aroma of cloves, bananas, coriander seed and MAJOR yeast! Medium-bodied; Mouthful of banana & bubble gum. Some spices, but very little. Aftertaste sweet and clean-bubble gum lines the palate nicely. Overall, a nice beer-very light for the season, but far off from an exceptional brew. I sampled this pint on draught at the District ChopHouse (where else???) on 23-August-2004 with a Tap Date of 17-August-2004 in Washington, D.C.
