Brewed as a traditional India Pale Ale. A highly hopped, medium-bodied, higher alcohol ale. This is a true hop-head beer. Generous portions of Northern Brewer, Centennial and Cascade hops complete this beer.

Reviewed from notes.
Thank you, Kelly!
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: golden orange color with some transparency and a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: bitter piney/resinous tones with some citrusy hop bitterness; somewhat old school-ish caramel malts
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a bitter to bittersweet sort of quality; finishes somewhat dry and bitter
Texture: light to medium bodied; sessionable; good smoothness but also a little bit of hop bitterness assertiveness - nothing overbearing, just noticeable
Overall: nice to try and I might come back to this if offered.

16 ounce can. Honey gold pour. Frothy white head. Earthy, hoppy nose. Flavor is dank citrus, lemon and pine. Resiny, but not overly so. Notes of pineapple and stone fruit. Sticky mouthfeel. Long citrusy aftertaste.

Pour is a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is a old school citrus with big time grapefruit hops. Flavor is more of the same with cascade and centennial grapefruit hops and a almost leathery crystal malt. While I don't typically like these IPA's of yesteryear, this one was fairly decent with a strong citrus hop and no sweet cloying malt to get in the way.

Can. Pours a pretty light gold with a huge, sudsy head. Aromas are weak. A bit of lemon, touch of grainy dough, a whiff of grass. Flavor is grainy with a bit of hops... pretty uninspired, but a solid enough IPA. Hops is just a bit of bitter with a. touch of lemon.

Not a bad IPA for a day at a theme park. Piney, mild grapefruit and lemon zest, with a clingy oily finish and good bitterness.
