22oz bottle I picked up by chance a few months back from the brewery. Pours a deep brown with some creamy, beige head. Nose is nice and well balanced, caramel, brown sugar, raisins, prunes, some light whiskey, yeasty. Flavor is sweet, lightly tart, caramel, raisin, toffee, some sour mash, a little bread. Medium bodied, lightly sweet finish. I thought this was a really cool take on their solid scotch ale recipe.

Draft. Very dark brown color, bright beige head. Aroma of subtle whiskey and coffee. Taste is spiced coffee and chocolate. Nice body.

Tap at Meridian Pint for the 1 year anniversary party. Poured a nearly black color with a small tan head. Aroma was roasted malts, with notes of Belgian yeast notes. Semi-sweet malt notes. Pretty enjoyable.
