On tap au saint bock.
Hazy yellow pour. Light citric notes, some light funk, and light lactic notes also. Very light on the flavor though, watery, and just a touch of lemon. Reminded me alot of lemon perrier. Meh.

Bottle, 75cl, at Mondial de la bière Montréal 2015. It’s an unclear, pale golden beer with a white head. Rhubarb, lemon and some milky notes in the faintly malty aroma. It’s tart, soft and medium bodied on the palate, with a rather fruity flavor. Some lacto, with lemon and rhubarb doing most of the work. Lasting lemony and fruity sour finish. Suberbly easy drinkable this one, and with a wonderful aroma and flavor. Sure a beer I’d love to have free access to all summer. 150611

Draft at Churchkey. Poured a very cloudy pale straw color, small-to-medium sized white head. Aroma was tart citrus fruits, with notes of yeasty bread, and a touch sour on the nose. Flavor was a tarty sharpness - sliced through my palate and I can’t be happier. This was very drinkable for a 3.2% ABV beer - if I wore a hat, it would be off to these guys.

Labeled simply as Hopfenstark Berliner Weisse (3.2% ABV) on tap at City Beer and later at Beachwood Brewing in Long Beach. Pours with a hazy bright yellow body with a small white head that fades. Aromas are lactic, yogurt, honey, biscuity. Lightly floral with a hint of salinity. Sharp and strong lactic acid flavors that stay. Carbonic bite. Bready, grainy. Very mild funk. Yogurt. Lively bubbles, and very dry.

On tap at City Beer Store. I have no idea how they got this one. This one was nice and tart. Very refreshing. It has a finely sudsy feel. Appearance is a pale yellow with little head. It has a lactic, yogurty flavory to it. Some light grain and lemons, as well. Good stuff.
