Bottle from the release way back. Bottle 18/450 @home, March '17. Spring cleaning special. Rounded pint glass, bottle is a slight gusher. A hazy orange amber body. Very perfumey. White grapes, wheat, lime zest, roses, a touch of butter. Taste is heavy & oh so unexpectedly light on oxidation. Rich, almost creamy & sweet wheat upfront, thinning out, turning limey & moderately tart midway through. The brew finishes grapey & strong, middling carbonation & only mildly hinting at oxidation. Really great. Glad I waited? Not really. Just afraid of drinking the last one. 4.5

South uberliner Bomber courtesy of rlgk. Pours slightly hazy golden with a big frothy and fizzy white head that quickly dissipates without leaving any trace worth mentioning. Smell is tiny sweet, sour, estery and phenolic with crackers, lemon juice, unripe banana, cloves, buttery wood, plums, dark grapes, dry soil and lemon zest. Taste is slightly sweet and sour with crackers, lemon juice, banana, cloves, allspice, plums, grape juice, hay, lemon zest, dry soil, alcohol and hints of apricots. Mouthfeel is round, tart, dry and medium bodied. Finish is sour and tart with crackers, lemon juice, hay, dry soil, cloves, apricots, alcohol and unripe banana.

Bomber #290/450 from Doodler! Thanks a ton Scott! Nose is tart green apples, a hint of funk, and lots of bready yeast. Clear gold with a big, heavy lacing, very lightly yellow tinged head. Flavor is lightly tart, lightly sweet, and yeasty white bread. Really pleasant to drink but not a great berliner Weisse.

Bottle from the release. Pours hazy orange gold with small soapy head. Nose is tart and barnyard. Tastes of mostly lemon sourness, but also with orange peel, apple, grass, wheat, and grains. Lively and refreshing on palate and paired well with the balsamic chicken and onion dish I prepared
