On tap at Meridian Pint, DC. Pours a cloudy dark brown with an off white head. Aroma of raisins. Noisy melange of herbs and malts. Not my thing.

Tap at Meridian Pint for the 1 year anniversary party. Poured a slightly murky brown color with a small off-white head. Aroma was light malts, with a touch of thyme and Belgian yeasts.

Consumed a fair share of this at American Ice Company. Pours a muddy brown with zero head. Nose is very inviting, herbal, floral, candy sugar, pitted fruits, caramel. Flavor is similar, sweet, bananas, candy sugar, chestnut honey, prunes, figs, herbs. The thyme isn’t in your face, it’s very complimentary and meshes very well with the base beer. Medium bodied, herbal finish. A great recipe.

Draft. Murky brown color, thin tan head. Aroma has spice not readily identifiable as thyme, but you know something is there. Taste starts roasty and caramel, then the spice comes in subtley. Nice.
