This is a fairly sweet barley wine, with a boozy finish. I found that the sweetness worked in the context of having some dark malt complexity, but I also could have done with a little more hop as well. Overall, a snifter might have been a lot of work.

Draft: poured a burnt orange with a creamy off white head. Aroma is huge malts and strong alcohol. Very hoppy, sweet malts, toffee and fruit. Sticky but alcohol feel to the tongue.

Appearance: Clear amber with a small off-white head
Aroma and flavors of toasted malts, dark fruit and sugar
Nice, mild flavors.
