IPA has a roasty amber color with a lacey, beige head to top it off. With citrus and floral aromas, a pronounced hop presense fills the nose. A slightly biscuity flavor with well balanced bitterness and a malty sweetness finishes with a dry mouthfeel and a lasting bitterness.

Pours slightly cloudy, amber with a short tan head. Aroma is breadheel, orange-peel, malt. Taste is a dusty, soft bitter of peels..... Bread, herbal hops, resin, pepper. Slightly sticky.....dull.

Hazy bronze and copper coloured body with a bit of an orange glow and a nice, one centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of fresh hops, apricots, oranges, pine, grapefruit and some solid malt notes, all with a hint of alcohol. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and nutty flavours with some good malt backbone, a tiny bit of the hops noticeable in the smell with only the herbal and grassy ones coming through in the flavour. Aftertaste shows some malt notes, a little caramel sugars and a tiny amount of hops. Overall, a bit subdued, especially for the style, but the dry hopping was present as evidenced by the nose, but the flavour and complexity simply weren’t there - this is more of an APA, if that. I sampled this 50cL bottle purchased from Ridgeview Liqour in Green Bay, Wisconsin on 29-July-2012 for US$2.25 sampled at home in Washington on 18-June-2013.

Cask version at Winking Lizard’s 5th Annual Real Ale Fest (03/23/13): The beer pours a clear copper color with a medium white head that recedes steadily. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of citrusy hops, bready malt and a bit of caramel. The finish is mildly bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Gold color. A simple ipa. Mild hop aroma. More hops in the flavor with citrus, and minimally sweet malt. Gold color, thin palate.

Thanks to GhostFace for this one. Half liter bottle pours deep clear copper with thin off white head. The mild aroma offers up some resiny vague piney hops, a bit of malt and a bit of fruity esters. The taste has a mix of bitter floral hops and some modestly resiny pine hops to midway and then picking up mild levels of earthiness and fruity esters. It stays floral and pine like hop bitterness into the finish and after taste. Kind of bitter, kind of floral, kind of an OK IPA offering.

From a big pounder bottle, way to go hinter on the packaging! Smells a little like candy. Yes the big dull old ipa bitterness just swashing around in your mouth. Looks viscous sitting there with its slow rising bubbles in a syrupy lookin brew. Soapy old rude ipa like yellow brown sprce tar. Alky adds a tad if dulling smoothness to it but it never gets cloying. Long thick bitter finish. Yez, bitter nasty thing, on style I guess.

Bottle. Orange/caramel malt aroma. Amber color with minimal head. Sweet orange, bready malt and moderately bitter citrus peel flavor. Drinkable but pretty forgettable.

Draft at Jacs. Filtered amber-orange. Thin off-white head. Pleasant. Soapy hop aroma, not so far from an APA. One dimensional soapy orange hops, but enough to be respectable. Quite malt centered still, could be sold as a quality hoppy amber. Standard offering, could use a little more depth.
