Bottle from Guerde. Pours light cherry red with a pinkish head. Light cherry aroma. Definitely earth/sour lambic impact, and there’s a light amount of cherry. Finishes a little woody and sour.

12 ounce bottle from Bestway in Greensboro, NC and shared at the 5/7/11 DC Ratebeer gathering. Pours a hazy red-orange color with a medium sized frothy pink head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of tart, earthy and sweet notes with berries and Lifesavers candy. The taste is tart beres and an earthy, slightly vegetal finish. Medium bodied.

Tasted from a growler at Dark Lord Day, where the guy said it was "Sour Cherry Kriek." Bright reddish body, a little bit of brown. A pink foamy head. Decently sour cherry smell. Lot of sour cherry to the taste. Not much more to add; it’s a good, sour cherry Belgian style beer.

12oz bottle. Pours a bright, artificial looking pink-red with a bubbly non-head. The aroma is like mildly funky fruit punch. A pretty shitty beer from Sprecher, who wouldve thought? The taste is quite odd, this is the only "lambic" I’ve ever had that has odd, off buttery undertones. Not undrinkable, would almost fit in with some of the nonsense sugary Lambics that will cost you a dollar in Belgium. Really lacks any enjoyable cherry or sour flavors. An interesting experiment, with lackluster results.

It smells like a zoo. Liteally, a zoo. Which might not be so bad for a lambic, but this one just doesn’t work. Red color and light cherry. Very light yeast and not sour at all. On one hand I want to congratulate any brewer for trying to do a lambic, but at the same time, it is important to put some effort in and get it right.
