Bottle thanks to Ryan. Pours a hazy orange gold with large frothy white head. The aroma floral, lemon zest, oak. Thin body, potpourri, citrus, dry finish, good.

Bottle during HF CD night; hazy golden yellow pour with a frothy white head, tart grape aroma, taste has some malt action, lemon puff biscuits, some grape, yoghurt, powdery yeast, a hint vanilla.

Tap at the Festival of Farmhouse Ales 2012 - Hill Farmstead. Pours hazy, yellow-gold with a giving, white foam head. Nose has some biscuity pale malts, tangy citrus fruits, lemon, moderate funk. Light sweet flavor with lots of zippy lemon, further dryish and lightly biscuity pale malts, a spot of wheat, yeast, pleasant funk tang. Light bodied with average to lively, massaging carbonation. Cleansing finish with further brisk lemon, some orange and grapefruit, biscuity pale malts, light musky funk, wheat. Lovely, lovely beer.

750mL bottle, sent from Glouglouburp (thanks a lot, Dany), pours a clear golden yellow with a medium white head (at least on the first pour - by the end of the bottle, it was pouring a dirty golden yellow due to the sediment). Aroma of citrus fruity esters, signature Hill Farmstead yeast, and a very rustic tone. Flavour is super rustic, with the signature Hill Farmstead yeast character, a bit of funk, and some subtle vinous and oak barrel notes that finish off the palate. Lively carbonation, with a wonderful complexity. Another awesome saison from the masters.

My girlfriend and I got the last pour of this at the farmhouse festival. Enjoyed in the white wine HFS stemware. Dave Sakolsky poured this for us. Bright hazy golden ale with a big pillow like white head. Smelled grassy and light. Hints of floral notes and lemon citrus. Very wheat forward taste and hints of lemons and apples. Mild acetic ness to this and Sauvignon blanc characteristics.

Draught at the Festival of Farmhouse Ales. Shiny electric yellow with lace. Slightly lactic, lemon and cream nose. Flavor of lemon, dust, grass, yogurt. Mild and balanced with light but tasty wild character. Good, but not as good as the previous beers in this series.

Bottle @ Scott’s Summer Saison tasting. Thanks so much Scott! Cloudy, light yellow appearance with a white head. Kind of a tangy, pineapple, spicy, floral, musty, barnyard aroma. Quite funky, lemon/pineapple, somewhat spicy, yeasty flavor. Nice one.

750ml bottle pours a hazy, bright yellow with a frothy, white head. Nose is similar to batch 2, white grapes, honey, flowers, light lemon, hay, grass. Flavor is sweet, flowers, more candy sugar than batch 2, malty, not too much bitterness. Medium bodied, sweet finish. Definitely more of a Belgian base.

Bottle courtesy of, and muled by oteyj, a huge thanks. Hazy yellow color, large white head that settles quickly, solid lacing. Aroma of barnyard funk, citrus, dust, lemon - resembles a nice gueuze. Taste is plain straw, hay earth. Nice.
