Our interpretation of a legendary style is not for the timid. Strong, assertively hoppy and dangerously seductive. A skillful blend of three premium barley malts with generous amounts of Northern Brewer and Cascade Hops creates a special ale to satisfy even the most demanding palate.

Bottle. Pours a coppery color with a finger of puffy head. Aromas are pleasant enough... a little bit of floral and grapefruit hops. Flavor is crisp and fresh, with a bit of a bite to it... grapefruit and pine are the main hops presences, and malt is present but could be a little fuller to balance out the biting finish a little better. Still, this is good enough... a bit thin, but decent.

bottle - Pours lightly hazy copper with a one finger, lingering white head. It has a pleasant aroma dominated by grapefruit accented hops. The flavor is also led by grapefruit hops along with some sweet malt and hints of pine and caramel. It’s medium bodied, well balanced, and overall a very solid IPA.

Hazy amber color. An easy Ale, sweetish, a bit soapy, some nice caramel, not much hop, but not bad.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Label claims 7.25% ABV. Warm deep amber golden with a dense off-white head. Sweetish aroma of burned caramel and good aroma hops. Medium-bodied with sweetish burned caramel, fruit and lovely peachy hop accents in the finish with a dry bitterness. A very neat American IPA. 210908

Bottle. (7.25%) A slightly unclear, orange-golden beer with a dense beige head. Fruity, piney nose, quite sugar maltyness and some notes of beef-stock. Lovely piney and citrusy hop flavor, with a good bitterness and balancing malty sweetness. Full body. Long, piney finish balanced with malty sweetness. Really pleasant, without being world class. Pour is a copper with a fizzy white head. Aroma is a very clean smalling hop but not much else. Flavor is decent with a intense grapfruit and caramel malt backbone. This was a decent beer.

Bottle. Plenty of hops and plenty of malts, almost too much. Verges on being chewy. Less than the clean follow-through of a Two-Hearted, for example. But still tasty. Hazy, dark amber pour. Off-white, frothy head. Suprisngly light aroma — sweet with malts, caramel and cookie, with hints of grapefruit and resin. The flavor is moderately sweet and moderately bitter, turning slightly more bitter in the long, somewhat sticky finish. Medium body, fizzy carbonation. Dry finish.

Bottle. Aromas of caramel malt and multiple hops. Sort of mahogany color with a rocky 4-finger head. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is slightly roasted caramel with a lot of hop. I vote pine and floral. Finish is dry and bitter. High IBUs no doubt. Mouthsmackingly good.
