0,5 brukerdose fra Spar-butikk i Bela Bela, på terrassen i Mabula lodge feb-20: klar lys gylden med bruseskum. Malt, mais og muligens en humleblomst pr 10 liter vørter. Can bb 03June20. Exceptionally boring and with hardly any taste at all, this is truly a waste of shelf space.

As Lion Lager (Zimbabwe) brewed by Delta Breweries (SABMiller), Harare, Zimbabwe.
Can. Clear golden color, white foam. Aroma: malt, slightly sour, apple, some fruits. Taste: malt, a little apple, a bit watery, usual south lager.

Bottle from Zimbabwe brought to UK by a neighbour. Pours an attractive bright golden colour with a decent sized long lasting white head. Aroma of maize with a touch of pepper. A light sweetness to it, with a good level of bitterness. Body is light, thin but slightly oily texture. Average and steady carbonation level, thought this was quite a decent pale lager.

Can shared by Caleb, thanks! Pours a clear light yellow with a touch of gold and a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma is full of corn and straw with a bit of earthy grain underlying. Flavor has lots of corn as well with some sweet grain and a bit of earthy bread.

In the can @ Darkness Eve thanks to CLevar. Clear yellow appearance with a white head. Slightly metallic nose with a touch of floral notes and corn. Flavor is a bit too sweet along with little hops. Not horrible.

Tin. Poured pale yellow with thin fast dissipating white head. Maize aroma, this smelled more like a maize beer. Thin body, a little malt, a lot of maize. Small amount of bitter finish. This is just another adjunct loaded macro lager, very unremarkable. Now that I’ve had one for old time’s sake, I can go back to ignoring it.

Stinks of corn starch, alcohol, tinniness, and some hops. Not appealing to start with. Has some head, but really styrofoamy. Has decent dark gold colour though. Not a bad mix of flavours, hops, maltiness, with a nice finish, and no real trace of alcohol.

Bottle. Pale golden body with a white head. Vague malt aroma, fruity. Watery, light body with a short finish. A little hint of something unpleasant in the aftertaste, best described as a slightly hint of sewer.
