At SAVOR. Poured a semi-translucent brown color with a white head. Aroma was caramel notes, touch of chocolate, nutty aromas. Mouthfeel was smooth, creamy. Flavor was nutty, roasted malts, a touch of chocolate rounded this one out. Very good!

12 oz bottle courtesy of Suttree. Best before 05062011 stamped on the label. Pour is mostly clear chestnut brown ruby with a smallish light tan head. Aroma is roasted nut, along with mild roast and a hint of leafy tobacco. Taste is the nutty malt up front, followed close behind with earthy roast and a caramel apple fruit sweetness. The palate is medium to thin bodied, unfiltered, with a lingering weird sweetness. Nice brown, thanks Phil.
