Another unique Rye beer from BRBC, this Double IPA is brewed with 30% rye, large quantities of American hops, and fermented with Belgian ale yeast to create a bitter, hoppy, and spicy ale that is sure to delight.

Sample at Fat Head’s in North Olmsted. This collaboration beer is a hazed orange-gold color with a medium thin off-white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, yeast and rye. Medium body with flavors of bready malt, yeast, citrusy hops and spicy rye. The finish is hoppy with a grapefruit aftertaste. Above average overall.

Tap at Fat Head’s in N. Olmsted (by Cleveland) - This brew is a collaboration between Bear Republic and Fat Head’s. Pours lightly hazy gold with a small white head that laces nicely. The aroma is of citrus hops and rye. The flavor has big hops with citrus and ample rye malt sweetness. It’s medium bodied and very enjoyable.

Growler. Pours like pineapple or peach juice (in terms of color and cloudiness) with a thin white head that laces slightly. Aroma has notes of pine and citrus hops (clash a bit) with a bit of rye. Flavor is similar with a bit of clashing hops and a rye building towards the finish.
