Pours an amber, somewhat malty, with a little bit of skunk. Bitter hop finish. Okay beer.

Reviewed from notes.
Most of the time this was poured into a pint glass but twice it was poured into a stange. There wasn’t any difference between the two.
The appearance had a gentle hazy golden color with a light transparency about it. There was a small white head that left some trickling lacing.
The smell had some light sweet German malts along with a light underscore of lemon and a touch of sweet corn.
The taste was mainly sweet through the previously mentioned flavors.
On the palate, this one sat fairly light and had a good sessionability about it. The carbonation finishes somewhat harsh.
Overall, I say it holds itself to being a good American styled kolsch worthy of having again but considering where I live and the distro I don’t mind sticking with Alaskan’s Summer Ale.

Bottle. Hazy golden blonde body. Aroma is almost nothing, very faint malt. Taste is grain, lemon, Earth hops, grass and sweet malt. Body is light and almost uncarbonated. Slick feel on the palate. Ends with stronger hop and yeast notes, more earth hops, light grains and soft biscuit notes. No bitterness, overall good. I would try another of the style.

Very nice IPA, on the mild side, but decent pine aromas an flavors. Shared with two dudes from the Federal Reserve Bank. I just hope they don’t raise interest rates.

Bottled@Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is caramel malts, fudge, some mild wooden and earthcellary notes as well. Flavour is rather much the same.

(Bottle, Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Golden colour with brief, white head. Fruity, slightly malty nose with citrus, apricots, a touch of spicy hops and some yeast. A bit restrained aromas. Fruity, slightly malty taste with notes of peaches, apricots, citrus, grainy malt and a touch of grassy, spicy hops. Light body, fairly dry. A decent and fairly tasty shot at the kölsch style.

Draught at Barcade, New York
Cloudy blond color. Golden ale without special features; light hop in the aroma; too light malt flavor; reasonable bitterness.

(Bottle at Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Poured ambed and lightly hazy without any head to speak of. Aroma was musty and aged. Palate was light bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavour showed mostly age with some hints of bitterness and fruitiness. Aftertaste was bitter. I don’t know how this one would taste as fresh but it seems to go bad when aged. Unfortunately the bottle had no BBE date.

Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. (brewed by Olde Saratoga Brewing.) Hazy golden, small head. Fruity cereal aroma. Dry, almost crisp. Lightly salty with a bit of grassy hops. Low bitterness. A straightfoeard drinkable beer.

Clean hay and honey aroma. Shimmering golden with a thin white head. Bitter flavor of pilsner style hops. Light bodied. Celery finish. Bitter and boring, but not terrible.
